Our roots – Energy storage systems

  • We founded Flybrid Systems in 2007 to increase the efficiency of Formula One cars using flywheel energy storage technology.
  • We realised that the technology could positively impact society on a larger scale and adapted the flywheel technology to work across a broader range of industries. We now offer flywheel energy storage systems for medium/heavy-duty equipment, green energy, and automobiles.
  • In 2021, we launched our flagship product, the Peak Power 200 flywheel solution, which has already saved over 8 million litres of diesel.
  • In 2024, Dumarey Green Power acquired Time Shift, the leading innovator in battery energy storage systems built from second-life batteries.

The Revolution Battery is an industrial high-power battery energy storage system (BESS) designed for seamless integration with generators, other batteries, or direct mains connections. When connected to a 16, 32, or 63 A mains connection, the battery can power large dynamic equipment such as cranes, allowing for the complete removal of generators. This innovative system enables the use of smaller, more efficient generators, resulting in lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and significant cost savings.

With a continuous power output of up to 160kW, depending on configuration, it is specifically designed for mobile and off-grid applications, such as building sites, festivals, events, filming locations and off-grid electric vehicle charging stations.
