Our roots – Energy storage systems

We founded Flybrid Systems in 2007 to increase the efficiency of Formula One cars using flywheel energy storage technology.
We realised that the technology could positively impact society on a larger scale and adapted the flywheel technology to work across a broader range of industries. We now offer flywheel energy storage systems for medium/heavy-duty equipment, green energy, and automobiles.
In 2021, we launched our flagship product, the Peak Power 200 flywheel solution, which has already saved over 8 million litres of diesel.
In 2024, Dumarey Green Power acquired Time Shift, the leading innovator in battery energy storage systems built from second-life batteries.

The Revolution battery can power large dynamic equipment such as cranes, allowing for the complete removal of generators. Enabling the use of smaller, more efficient generators, resulting in lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and significant cost savings.

PowerSkid – Off-Grid Energy Storage

The PowerSkid is a battery energy storage system with a power output of 100 kW (Performance) or 160 kW (Ultra). It is specifically designed for mobile and off-grid energy storage applications, functioning as a generator for building site use, festivals, events, filming locations and off-grid electric vehicle charging stations.

We provide emission- and noise-free electric power on location alongside smart software that enables you to schedule off-grid generator charging.

The PowerSkid is also available as a stationary, on-grid product. Both forms of the PowerSkid are fitted with second-life battery modules equivalent to the power of three to six electric vehicles.

EnergySkid – Off-Grid Generator

The EnergySkid is a battery energy storage system with energy storage of 1.2 MWh. It is primarily designed for ancillary services, such as frequency containment reserve (FCR), unbalance trading , load shifting, and peak shaving. The EnergySkid is also ideal for mobile, off-grid energy storage, such as at large construction sites with high power demands.

You can benefit from an electric emission- and noise-free off-grid generator on location. In addition, you can schedule generator charging through our smart software.

Power Factor Correction System

With our power factor correction system, you can improve power quality and efficiency while lowering costs. This advanced electrical control device works with your existing capacitors to improve the power factor and power angle for optimal performance.

F-Boost – Automotive Flywheel

Ultra-high power dense, flywheel energy storage system, designed for use in automotive applications. The casing of the F-Boost has been optimised for low noise emission as well as being water cooled – maximising efficiency. All of this in a product weighing ~50kg.

2000 Series Flywheel Module

The 2000 Series flywheel module is an integration flywheel that can be installed in your application. It provides 2000kJ of power in a compact flywheel. Specifically designed for 10 million full charge-discharge cycles in a robustly engineered casing, meeting the most stringent of engineering standards.

600 Series Flywheel Module

The 600 Series flywheel module is an integration flywheel that can be installed in your application. It provides 600kJ of energy in a compact flywheel. Specifically designed for 10 million full charge-discharge cycles in a robustly engineered casing, meeting the most stringent of engineering standards.
